Getting Started Checklist

Schedule a tutoring appointment via email or phone.
Submit payment to secure your math tutoring appointment time. I accept personal checks or PayPal.
Set up the Bamboo digital tablet
Once you schedule your first appointment, you will receive a Bamboo digital tablet in the mail, free of charge.
Use the included CD-ROM to install the drivers. Complete the five minute tutorial before our first session.
Download Mozilla Firefox (if you don’t already have it)
Mozilla is a free internet browser program that works best with the online whiteboard programs we use during tutoring.
Download Skype (if you don’t already have it)
Skype is a free program that lets us do video chat or voice chat via webcam during our tutoring sessions.
Internet requirements
High-speed internet (anything that’s not dial-up). Non-wireless connections are faster than wireless. If you only have wireless internet, place your computer next to your wireless hub during the tutoring session for the fastest wireless connection.
System requirements
For the Bamboo digital tablet: PC or Macintosh computer. Operating System: Requires computer running Windows 2000, XP, or Vista (32 or 64-bit) or a Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.3.9+, Intel or PowerPC Processor. Also requires color display, powered USB port, and CD/DVD drive.
