It’s a delightful way to learn or remember some important facts about this lovely number, 3.14159….

Here are the lyrics. I would love to know who wrote the song (couldn’t figure it out on google) and who made the gorgeous video (the info was all in Russian).

After my recent post on brain wave entrainment and binaural beats, I wanted to share this beautiful fact, courtesy of Anodea Judith’s excellent book, Wheels of Life:

Measurements have shown that when the human body is standing on the ground, it is electrically grounded as well. There is an electrostatic field surrounding the Earth with a resonant frequency of about 7.5 cycles per second [Itzhak Bentov, Stalking the Wild Pendulum, 53]. The late Itzhak Bentov discussed a micromotion of the body that consists of the constant vibration of the heart, cells, and bodily fluids. He determined that this micromotion vibrates at a frequency of 6.8 to 7.5 cycles per second. Therefore, the body’s natural frequency resonates with the Earth’s ionosphere….

So not only do our brains and our musical rhythms entrain, but our bodies also entrain with our planet? This is so crazy-beautiful!!

I wonder if there’s a way to “tune” one’s body closer to about 7.5 cycles per second.
